HOW OUR SILK MARBLING WORKSHOPS WORK
Step-by-step guidance for a calming creative journey
STEP 1:
INSTRUCTOR DEMO
A full demonstration of Traditional Ebru tools, colors, and techniques. We start with a mindful focus to ease into the creative flow.
STEP 2:
DROP THE COLORS
Select unique colors and use horsehair brushes to gently drop pigment onto the prepared kitre water. Watch as colors float and spread organically.
STEP 3:
SHAPE THE PATTERN
Gently use a ‘biz’ (stylus) and combs to draw through the colors, crafting detailed, unique designs that reflect your inner vision.
STEP 4:
THE TRANSFER
Carefully lower raw silk onto your design. The pattern instantly absorbs, creating a permanent, unique wearable masterpiece.

Thank you for bringing home a unique, hand-marbled piece of art! To keep the colors vibrant and the fabric soft, please follow these gentle care instructions:
- Hand Wash: Rinse thoroughly in cold water. Gently press out excess water between clean, dry towels.
- Handle with Care: Do not scrub, wring, or twist the fabric, as this can damage the fibers and pattern.
- Dry Flat: Air dry flat in the shade. Keep away from direct sunlight and do not tumble dry.
- Iron: Iron on low heat (silk setting) on the reverse side while the scarf is still slightly damp.
- Spot Clean: Spot clean small stains gently as needed.
