No, we provide all the necessary art supplies (paints, brushes, canvases, water marbling trays, etc.) and protective aprons. We just recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little paint on

Yes! You can take your canvas painting and water marbling pieces with you immediately after the event.
At Studio Mavi Art, we have focused our expertise exclusively on Water Marbling (Ebru) and Canvas Painting workshops. Our entire event calendar is specially curated around these two core experiences.
With our mobile workshop service, we bring the art experience directly to you! For private events, office team-building activities, or special celebrations, we come to your specified location with all the necessary supplies and host the creative session right there.
We primarily serve Newark, Fremont, and the surrounding Bay Area. If you are located outside of these areas, please contact us to discuss travel and distance details.
To guarantee your preferred date and allow us enough time to prep the materials, we kindly request that you reach out regarding private events at least 2 to 3weeks in advance.
A spacious table area, adequate lighting, and access to a sink with running water are generally all we need. Depending on whether you choose a water marbling or canvas painting event, we will share any specific venue requirements with you during the booking process.
Ebru is the traditional art of creating colorful patterns by floating pigments on thickened water. Once the design is shaped, it is transferred onto paper or canvas. It’s a highly mindful and relaxing artistic process.
Our materials are completely safe, non-toxic, and primarily derived from nature (earth pigments and plant-based thickeners). However, traditional Ebru requires a natural additive called ox gall to help the paints float, so the process is not strictly vegan.
